Riyadh – Mubasher: Arabian Cement announced that it received a letter from the National Electricity Transmission Co. informing that expansion of the high-voltage plant in Rabigh would be completed by the third quarter of 2021.
The delay in completing the project will have no impact on the project’s costs and the cement producer’s financial results, according to a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday.
In 2015, Arabian Cement revealed signing an agreement with the National Electricity Transmission Co. to supply electricity at Rabigh plant.
In November 2018, the Saudi cement producer announced the completion of 80% of the establishment of cement mills at its Rabigh plant.
